Hi all, ive been to the RO in LPOOL for the first time since it shut down for its annual clean up, and the difference is phenominal, a lot of new readers, all new machines, just great. The only thing ruining this is the amount of staff available to run the place. I dont think there is enough staff to run the place efficiently if things get a bit hecktick, and the staff are always kind and pleasant when you go there, never a grumble or a moan and always willing to help. Why oh why do these Councillors and Members of Parliament think that have less staff makes things run more efficiently? BUT do you every hear of a Councillor, or an MP being told to accept redundancy. That might be a question for the Guiness Book of Records - When was the last time redundancies took place amongst MPs and Councillers? TED. ps I bet you all know the answer to that? |

I agree Ted, very impressed when I went on Saturday- Also agree about number of staff- when you are stuck with something it doesn't half eat into your time waiting for help. Simone x |
