Here's my problem....... Gt grandparents ANGUS BINNIE & SARAH ANDERSON BINNIE (NEE CLARK/E) did a runner in 1931 (ish) following the death of their youngest child. They dumped their 2 remaining children with Sarahs parents and were never seen again...... did I mention they were from SCotland? anyway, I've trawled Scotlands people, for deaths but can only assume it was after 1954 (or not in Scotland), does anyone have any idea where I can try next....... I've tried all the sites i can think of, but without any firm locations I'm stuck.... would really appreciate some advice...... Teri

Was it assumed they would have at least began their escape together. I wonder if they had any further children? Trouble is, they might have gone abroad or anything.... Merry

Hmmm, thats what I'm wondering, I'm assuming that the death of their baby made them do it, but theres no one alive left to ask, their other children wouldn't talk about them at all, but I can't help wonder? did they change their names? did they go abroad? did they have some bizzare suicide pact? the possibilities (and my imagination LOL) are endless......

I'm looking at that avenue now, I've just found a 'mrs Sarah Binnie' who went to canada in 1943...... but its such a popular name......

I've done a bit of probing and it turns out they split up noit long after, and he stayed in Scotland...... so the emigrating theory was wrong........
