Hello, fellow gene people. After assuming i would never subscribe to Ancestry, due to no credit card,Ive discovered that that is not the case anymore. So,no excuses.........before i take the plunge into a genealogical black hole, never to be seen again, which version would one recommend to someone who (a) has no interest in America (b)likes detail and efficiency (c) likes extra gimmicks .

> which version would one recommend to someone who (a) > has no interest in America If that means your interest is primarily in the UK, you want the 'UK & Ireland Records Collection'. If you haven't already signed up for the free trial subscription for all of Ancestry, do that first, then look at the 'upgrade' options. Once there you should be able to upgrade only to the 'UK & Ireland Records Collection'. You often get a discount as an existing member, even if its only on a trial subscription.
