Don't remember coming across this, am looking for a friend into his history to get him started (Cornish is the surname for anyone out there) and came across a Mary Hy. Hannaford. Does anyone know what Hy stands for Elaine

Thanks Geoff Was thrown off the scent as her first name is Mary, was having difficulty finding her but just got her in 1871 and it's Mary A. !!! Thanks Elaine
