Can someone point me in the right direction? I want to make a trip to Scotland in October, I would like to pay visits to Motherwell & Wishaw my late parents home towns. Where is the best place to stay would it be Glasgow? Would really appreciate any advise Regards Mary

Mary I don't know these areas, but there must be a Scottish Tourist Board of some kind that could advise you about b&b, hotels, transport etc. nell

hubby says Motherwell and Wishaw are not too far apart, you could stay in one and visit the other, sorry don't know any hotels or B&B's just 'google' and it will turn up something. Tricia

Looking at the map Motherwell and Wishaw are very close to each other, but Motherwell looks the largest, so I would stop there and you won't be far from Wishaw. Looks like they are only about 4 or 5 miles apart. Kath. x
