No. The same batch number means that they are from the same record - usually the parish church register for marriages. So if its an unusual name, chances are they are related. But if its not, they may not be. Of course the further back you go the fewer families there were around, people didn't leave their homes so often. nell |

Does anyone know if you find a lot of marriages of people with the same surname in the same batch number, would they have been related. Thanks Julie. |
