There is this one:- Edward Butt, spouse Mills June qtr. 1924, Islington, 1b, 407 Kath. x p.s. just cross checked and it is Edith M. Mills.

I have looked Mar 1925 to sep 1926 and all of 1927 no luck

I've done 25 and 28. Have only found one BUTT to MILLS. Not yours I'm afraid. It was Wm H Butt to Mills Sep Qtr 1925 Eccleshall B 9c 723 Perhaps someone else has credits to spread the search a bit wider for you. Regards Jan x

Hello, Trudy. I checked from July quarter, 1926 to December quarter 1927 and found no entry for Edward Butt in any area. I only had 6 units so couldn't check any further, sorry. Perhaps someone else may be able to go back a bit further. Susan

If so, would you mind looking up a marriage for me, I am looking for the marriage of EDWARD BUTT and EDITH MAY MILLS - their son DEREK was born March 1928, so I am presuming that it is probably somewhere in 1927 or 1926 - it would have been east London, probably Shoreditch/Bethnal Green. any help gratefully appreciated.
