Hi I have just come across the Proceedings of the Old Bailey site and found that one of my relatives was called as a witness on two occasions and gave me an occupation and another ancestor who was a witness gave his address. From 1674 to 1834 - London connection, why not give it a try. Suzanne 'The Proceedings of the Old Bailey, London 1674 to 1834 A fully searchable online edition of the largest body of texts detailing the lives of non-elite people ever published, containing accounts of over 100,000 criminal trials held at London's central criminal court' |
