when the marriage certificate of my greatx3 grandparents certificate arrived in the post this morning I discovered I'd claimed the wrong person as my greatx4 grandfather I'd claimed a Samuel Bache when infact it was a David Bache Previously i'd followed Samuel's branch - only to discover that two of his children weren't his anyway - they belonged to a Benjamin Bache (Samuel's wife's first husband?) born about 1813 in Brierly Hill Staffordshire So I started afresh, using the IGI as a guide to who my real ancestors may be and found that David's parents (my great x 5 grandparents) John & Mary Bache - only to discover that John & Mary may have had another son - a Benjamin born in 1813 in .... you guessed it - Brierly Hill ARGHHH! - well At Least I don't have to delete all my research
