1871 Scottish census ?what month

I know the english census was april but when was the scottish one? Gloria

Thanks Margaret, I have found and lost an 1871 english census showing a John and Jane Yates, but on the scottish one it has Jane as a widow. The scottish one is definitely her, so will try to find the other again, I would think I have misread it. Just thought if the census was later he could have died in between!! Gloria x

This gets dafter or I have not got my brain switched on----- She is down as being born in lancashire so it possibly is not them, there are two daughters with them, the second I have no trace of. The Warburton family when I bring up the actual census are not even in the same streetas them. AND in the actual census the Yates are living on their own with just the two daughters. Think I will give this lot a miss as something appears to be wrong. Gloria x
