can someone please help before I go crazy [oops too late ] I know my grancha was in the above from at least 1901.He fought in France landing in September 1914 as I have his details from his 1914 star roll.He was a gunner regiment number 12086. How do I find what regiment though.Please help regards Bren |

Bren Go to the National Archives website, find the WW1 medal list and key his name in. Hopefully, his medal card will be on there and you'll find out his regiment. Good luck! Debby |

I have that medal card and this is where its a problem cos I don't seem to understand it.It just states Suff RHA /69 or it could be Supp RHA/69.Any more help would be excellent Thanks Bren |

If you try www(.)1914-1918(.)net Remove ( ) They have a section on Medal Cards and how to interpreter them, they also have a forum that you can put questions on. My Grandfather was also in the RHA 1901-1918, on his Medal Card they had the 14/BDE which helped. Keith |
