Censuses seem to have been taken every 10 yrs from 1841-1901; so was one taken in 1911? If so when will it be released?

So when you fill in the one in 2011 photocopy it and store it with your family history material! As stated above, the 1911 is in a mess and there are no plans to index it. The government don't have to do this, they just have to make it available by releasing it to the public at Kew. 1921 not too sure, 1931 was destroyed to prevent Nazis getting information and 1941 wasn't taken because of the war. After that we will probably all be dead anyway! You can get limited information after 1901 from electoral rolls and street directories. nell
