If someone in Motherwell and the other person from Wishaw were getting married in 1920's what would be the name of the Catholic Church and what district would they come under Hope someone can help Thanks Mary |

You can get a list of the modern churches in the area at www.rcdom(.)org(.)uk It would be usual to marry in the brides parish. You say they married in the 1920's - you should be able to get their marriage certificate on-line at Scotlandspeople |

Hi Mary Sorry cant answer your question, but if you know their names you would get it on Scotlandspeople marriages go up to 1929. It will cost you £6 for 30 credits 1 per search and 5 per image, you will get where they were married on the cert. Marion |
