Hi all, this is just a bit of info for anybody living in CHESHIRE around the CHESTER area. I was giving my motorbike a run out on Saturday, and took the A41 up to MALPAS, then back to the WIRRAL. went down the A41, the main road, but on the way back took to the side roads and passed throught a hamlet of a couple of houses and a very old church. So I stopped to have a good look around the church and the graves. Graves going back to 1700, and god, did the people live to ripe old ages? lotgs of over 80s , so the country air must have done them some good. But over the main church door in an inscription 'RONULL PRICKET, church warden from 1600 to 1611. Couldnt go inside the church as it was locked, but if your ever in the area, call in and have a look around. TED. lovely countryside around there, fantastic views from the Church. There was a grave for a man who was in the BOMBAY INDIAN ARMY who died in 1881. F |
