Could anyone tell me who to contact for a marriage certicate or entry, 1790, eastington, gloucestershire. Are there two Eastingtons in gloucs. (My LDS entry doesn,t specify a church) Many thanks Happy days |

GENUKI says there are two Eastingtons - one near Northleach and the other near Stonehouse. The Gloucestershire RO would have the records on fiche or film and if you have the date of the entry it would probably come within their minimum fee for a lookup (assuming they do lookups, I have not checked and assuming you don't live there!) If you think you might need more info from the same parish it might be better to get the LDS film of the records and view them at your local LDS centre?? Sarah |

Sarah/ Nell I have found out its Eastington and Alkerton. Any idea which Eastington it might be from that - can,t find Alkerton on my map. happy days |

Harry Put Alkington in the search box on www*streetmap*co*uk [replace * with .] and you will find Eastington just below it. Zoom out and you will find Stonehouse just below Eastington. nell |
