please how do I enlarge a census image to print it

I can never read the copies I do as the printing is so small how do I get a copy with bigger writing please most urgent

Instead of printing direct from the website, click on SAVE and save the census page as a jpeg image (like a photo in your photo handling program) Then you can play about with it and just enlarge the bit you want, crop it to fit the page and print. Anne

If you know how, trim off the black border - it will save a lot of ink!

I use IrfanView which is a good free program for editing images. You use the CROP tool - just drag the mouse around the area you want i.e. excluding the black edges. Then click on Edit, Crop Selection. Any graphics program will have a similar function. I usually Resize the image before saving and also save adjuct the compression of the file when I save it so the file size is reduced. Whenever editing images like this, ALWAYS use a different filename when you save it. That way you can always go back to the original file and try again. I just stick something like the letter 'a' on the end of the original filename. Martin
