why do people not answer when you send them a message regarding their family tree. I sent a guy 2 messages regarding a lady I know is on my tree and is listed on his as well, NO REPLY. why do they bother to import details then not reply to people who match up. is it just me!!!!! |

I know what you mean - I have come to think that it is because they havent paid the annual subscription and therefore cannot respond to messages but can do just about everything else. I have the same problem wrote to someone in relation to one of my family names in a very small village which at the time contained 4 of my family blood lines and about 2 other families and have still not had a response - well accept for them asking me to give them access to my tree, which I did, and in return asked for their tree - which I never got so I took my access way from them. Its a shame because she is probably researching details that a couple of us have already done and took the family back to 1780! |

Dumbos like me typed in an incorrect email address when they joined, then wonder why nobody gets in touch. I imagine that there are plenty of people who do that, don't return to the site and their messages go into cyber space. |
