CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I CAN ORDER BIRTH, MARRIAGE AND DEATH CERTIFICATES FROM AMERICA? AND IF I CAN, HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING IT? THANX HELEN

I think each state has its own system. I expect Crista in the US will be visiting the boards later and she'll probably be able to help you. nell

THANX NELL, I HOPE SHE SEES MY POSTING ON HERE! I HAVENT BEEN DOING MY TREE LONG, AND I HAVE JUST FOUND MY GT.AUNT SCHWANZER'S DEATH IN AMERICA, SO I NEED A DEATH CERTIFICATE. HELEN X

You could also try googling whichever state you think you want and 'civil registration' or something. nell
