How do I find Polish ancestors ?

Hi everyone,how do I go about searching polish ancestors ?My ancestor married someone who was born in Warsaw Poland and I would like to find his parents ect and try to find out when he came to live in uk.Thank you kath

This Polish person who married your ancestor - when? Is s/he on a census anywhere? Some Polish records might be on www.familysearch.org You could try googling 'Polish genealogy' and see what happens, or contact the Polish Embassy. nell

Hi Kathryn If you type 'polish birth' into the search box at the top of this board you will bring up threads that have been asked before. This could help you. Try putting in various combinations, ie 'polish' or 'polish ancestors' etc K
