Is it worth buying the FTM deluxe with CDs?

Just wondered whether the CDs are worth having being that they are not 'complete' records and I'm already subscribed to Ancestry so the free subscription period isn't needed? Is getting the Standard box set ok or do you 'miss out'? Thanks Sharon PS for those that replied re FTM 2006 - the website I saw it on replied to my email and it is due out around 23 Aug! And there are numerous new features which are listed on the FTM website.

Sharon my answer is NO. I purchased the Collectors Edition at the beginning of June with all the extra CD's. Some of the CD's open in FTM and others download their own viewer. Data Disc Set 1 has the following: English Parish Records Scottish Parish Records British Chancery Vol 1 British Chancery Vol 2 1851 UK Census (selected records) Data Disc Set 2 has the following: 1891 British Census Disc 1,2, and 3 Cambridge Alumni Pallots Marriage Index Pallots Baptism Index You can probably guess what I am going to say about the census discs - you need Ancestry to view the images - as the discs are only lists of names - which is obviously the reason for the 'Free' subscription to Ancestry. Personally have not found one thing of interest to me on any of the discs. Other people will have different opinions. Maureen

Just go for the standard edition. I guess if a new version is out in August we will be able to update the 2005.
