I am trying to find an area of Devon called EAST STONEHOUSE I have tried looking it up but it does not seem to exist on maps these days. Does anyone know what area it would have covered, if it was an admin area, or where it was if it was a place? Many thanks Abigail

Dear Crista, Don't be annoyed, I often don't visit one board or another for weeks on end depending on my workload and different experts frequent different places. I have put another answer on the general board as well. Thanks for all the replies, it is exactly where I hoped it would be but now, after speaking to an elderly relative, I might be sauntering down completely the wrong lane! Still all the journeys are worth it, I will know something about Stonehouse if I ever get to visit it! Thanks again everyone! Abigail
