how to find someone from a marriage

I believe i have found a grandparent marrying someone before they married my g'g nan. how do i find out (without paying for a cert) where she was born or her age? They married sometime between 1861 and 1871, when he is a widow in the census. i believe they may have married in 1867, but i have no idea which one she is in the 1861 census. Alfred Osborne marrying Eliza Clarke in Stowe. |

There are 2 Eliza Clarkes living in Stow in 1861 perhaps she was one of them. One was 12 which would only make her 20 in 1869 the 14 year old is a possibility. The family were living in Stow district but came from Elmswell. CLARKE, Charles Head Married M 41 Agricultural Labourer Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Maria Wife Married F 33 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Eliza Daughter Unmarried F 14 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Sophia Daughter F 8 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, William Son M 5 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Abraham Son M 4 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Ann Daughter F 1 Elmswell Suffolk CLARKE, Charles Son M 12 Agricultural Labourer Elmswell Suffolk RG number: RG09 Piece: 1144 Folio: 39 Page: 3 Registration District: Stow Sub District: 1 Walsham-le-willows Enumeration District: 4 Ecclesiastical District: Parish: Elmswell City/Municipal Borough: Address: , Hawk End The only way to find out for sure is to cross reference with her fathers details on the marriage cert. I have checked BIVRI 1 and the marriage is not on there perhaps someone could check the second disc for you as that may have fathers name on if it is on there Deborah |
