Does anyone know where the records are kept for St Johns,Hackney, please?...... I need baptisms, marriages and burials from late 1700s to mid 1800s. |

In case you don't know, LMA = London Metropolitan Archives, the county records office for a large area of London (not the City). It's 5 minutes walk away from the Family Records Centre and open alternate Saturdays. Check website for details: http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation/ leisure_heritage/libraries_archives_museums_galleries/ JAS/lma/lma.htm nell |

Thank you for your replies. I have checked the LMA site but it would seem that they only have a 4 year span transcript for that church. Please will someone check that I am searching correctly? Is there anywhere else to look? |

Thank you Lyla. That group of baptisms would be a great help to me. I'll have to find time for a visit. Your help is really appreciated. |
