Hi, is it worth me paying for the Origins website, mainly for census info? |

I think origins only has parts of the 1841 census on it, but I could be wrong. Ancestry has the most censuses on its site. nell |

British Origins has 1841 and 1871 censuses for a limited (but growing) range of counties. I've found it worthwhile to buy a 72 hour sub, having first gathered a good long list of people I needed to look up on 1841 and making sure I'll have plenty of time to spend online during the 3 days - certainly cheaper for me than fares to London to use the FRC. At present they have 1841 Census records for the following counties: Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Devon ,Dorset, Essex , Gloucestershire, Lincolnshire , Norfolk, Nottinghamshire , Somerset, Suffolk |
