Depends on what year you are talking about, but in 1842, Tithe Maps were drawn up for England (and possibly Wales, but not sure), which gave landowners. We found the landowners of the farm my husbands ancestors farmed, on these maps in the local record office for the area. It might be worth asking at the relevant record office. Kath. x |
