Hi Thanks for looking at my thread, I have found my ggrandfather living at the shoe market in Pontefract in 1901 and I was wondering if it is still there to day, any help appreciated Regards Neil |

forgot to mention, when you see map, click on 'MUS' to enlarge that part of map,you should find 'Shoe market' easy enough egg |

Hi Clarence & Egg onlegs, many thanks for the information, I will now check out the map, apparently my ggrandfather was a fried fish dealer there I can only pressume that he had a fish & chip shop lol Regards Neil |
