I know this is a stupid question, but one of my ancestors is on the 1871 census then on 1881+ he and his wife have disappeared could they have emigrated? Best wishes Yvonne |

can you find them on 1891? if so then they will probably be on 1881 - just mistranscribed if not - it is one of many possibilities if you give me the detials i'll take a look for you |

Hi Louise Ive had a look on those census, but another pair of fresh eyes could be better than mine. So here goes, Im looking for James Snowball b1838 in Whitby, Yorkshire and his wife Ann Jones b1842 in Rhyl, North Wales, they had no children at the time, and were living in Liverpool. Hi Louise Thanks for that, right Ill go and have a look, I know West Derby used to be the old registery office which is now based at Old Hall Street in Liverpool. Many thanks for your help its very much appreciated. Cheers Yvonne |
