I know my gr gr grandparents Hugh Brown Ritchie and Agnes Lemont (Lemon) were married in Bothwell Lanark Scotland on 2/8/1867 and their eldest son James was baptised there on 4/2/1870 but I can find no trace in the marriges or births on the scotlands people web site. Can anyone help or advise on other web sites? thankyou. Sue.

Thanks Marion, I have found out that they had another child from what you have told me. Esther must have been their 1st child, but must have died young. Thanks again, Sue
