The problem is that the son William E Wright in 1891 is 19, so there should be a 9 year old, not a 2 year old in 1891. As the children are written on a census in age order, its hard to believe that the 19 in 1901 should read 12, or that the 2 year old in 1891 should read 9. Have you found a death for the father or for a William E Wright? nell

Nell, my thinking is 'scribble' because if the 19 year old existed in 1901 he cant have been 'replaced' by one 10 years before DOH! Time to put the straight jacket back on i think- the white van is here

Hackthorpe St is in Everton/Walton area of Liverpool so they are living in relevant area. Think father Thomas may have died in 1899. Haven't brought paperwork to work with me so don't know which qtr. Just noticed Thomas G (son) Shown on 1901 as being 18yrs not on 1891 census (would only be 8yrs).where is he?

Yes think that's Thomas' death. Was doing so well thought I had found my rellies. After finding two discrepancies in 1891 not so sure now. The info I have on the 1901 census is my family definitely. Anyone willing to trace back to 1891 to check I am following the right line.
