Hi All, I have an old family bible with family names & dates but over some of the entries a blank piece of paper has been glued on ,would anyone have any ideas as how to remove so I can see what was written?I'm so curious to see what was there. Thnaks Sandra

I would suggest you contact your nearest archive and ask someone who deals with conservation about this - removal probably depends on the kind of glue used. nell

Hi Nell, I think I'll give the records office a call.Thanks for your advice I can't wait to see what's underneath maybe some family skeletons,although it will probably turn out to have been someone elses bible. Thanks again Sandra

If you've got strong people to help could you hold the page up to the window and see if any writing shows through? DON'T SPOIL THE BIBLE. doing this though.
