I've put the Initials & sex of Living persons eg 'T female'

I totally agree, that's why I have changed all the christian names of living relatives on my tree to 'Living' rather than the correct name. It should make it a bit harder for anyone using the info for fraudulent use! Sam x

Hi I have permission from living people, and of course those viewing my tree I have given permission to view for one reason or another. I am not normally a suspicious person but it has mothers maidens names, DOB area of where they are living this is enough information for credit card fraud amongst others, Sophie x

If you give someone access to your they will be able to see all details, same as they could before. If you are worried about them seeing information about living people, then you shouldn't really have living people on there. Sam x

Hi, I have a query, If I give access to someone to view my tree are they now able to view the extra details on people in your tree? I was worried about this so I tried to view someones extra details from a tree that someone has allowed me to view, I don't believe that we could before. Surely it is not right if we can view living peoples details that we don't know. sophiex
