Anyone searching for ancestor's originating from the Wigan area could find this site quite useful. There are local directories, information on local churches, some interesting photo's of the Wigan area and other useful links. |

Many thanks for that Annette. I have recently discovered that my grandfather was born there and as I am a Londoner and all my family back to 1860 come from London I know v little about this part of England. So this is a real goldmine for me!! Louise :-)) |
