Hi Julie Are you sending them info or are you hoping to get info from them? I have an 'interrogation' sheet somewhere I think if it's any good to you. If you are sending info, have a look at some of the forms you can download from the LDS site. Jeanette x |

Julie There are some ideas in the backs of various family history books - Who was your granny's granny? has some. But I think you should draw up your own. It is tricky, as if faced with a vast number of pages, people will be less inclined to fill them in. On the other hand, you may miss vital information. It's a shame you can't get to interview them, as showing photos etc often acts as a prompt, and you can record and play back what they say, which is easier on them than having to write it all down. I would suggest you do a draft sheet on what you want to find out, and then compile your questionnaire from that. Also bear in mind that memories are often misleading! nell |

Julie It's the LDS site (www.familysearch.org) which is down at the moment, not LSD (though that might be helpful, who knows?!) nell |
