Hi Julie Are you sending them info or are you hoping to get info from them? I have an 'interrogation' sheet somewhere I think if it's any good to you. If you are sending info, have a look at some of the forms you can download from the LDS site. Jeanette x

Julie There are some ideas in the backs of various family history books - Who was your granny's granny? has some. But I think you should draw up your own. It is tricky, as if faced with a vast number of pages, people will be less inclined to fill them in. On the other hand, you may miss vital information. It's a shame you can't get to interview them, as showing photos etc often acts as a prompt, and you can record and play back what they say, which is easier on them than having to write it all down. I would suggest you do a draft sheet on what you want to find out, and then compile your questionnaire from that. Also bear in mind that memories are often misleading! nell

Julie It's the LDS site (www.familysearch.org) which is down at the moment, not LSD (though that might be helpful, who knows?!) nell
