I have Edith Pady b.1864 Hawkchurch Devon and her son Walter Fursman b.1883 Whitchurch Dorset living together in the 1891 census in Hawkchurch. Can anybody find either of these two in the 1901 census? Thanks

Thank you Carol (and to Dawn who sent me a message) The head of the family living in Dorset - William - is indeed Walters father but to a previous relationship with Edith Pady Its just in the 1901 census his date of birth is 1893, not 1883. Two possibilties as far as I can see it then are: Walter was back living with his father William by 1901 and there is an error on the date in the census. Or.... William had another son 10 years later with his second partner and called him Walter too. I think i will see if I can find a death for a Walter 1891-1901 in Devon, may help solve the mystery!!
