Ontario Death - Can anyone help?

It now appears that my ggrandmother died in Ontario and I've been lucky enough to be given a copy of the obituary notice that appeared in the local newspaper here in England following her death. It has a wealth of information on it....but no year! I've tried contacting the cemetery several times but have failed to get a response. Has anyone any suggestions as to how to make this easier without continuing to harass the cemetery staff who probably recognise my name by now and delete me before opening them! Thanks Lou

Lou, I've only contacted a few cemetery offices in Ontario, but they have always answered me. May I ask what town it is in -- perhaps I can think of a solution. If all else fails, you might try sending a letter (snail mail) -- they might have more staff who could answer your questions (rather than the person(s) who isn't answering your email).

Lou have you tried contacting the newspaper to see if they can date their article?

Apologies for the delay in replying, my email access has been somewhat sporadic of late! Lisa Thank you...she was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph, if that makes any difference???? K I actually have no idea which newspaper it came from. It was passed to me recently by a relative, who's mother was my ggrandmother's daughter (if you follow that!). She found it in with some old photos when her mother passed away in 1990 and mailed it to me a few weeks ago after she discovered that I was researching the family tree. Lou

Lou Have you tried this site: http://ogs.andornot(.)com/OldFiles/CemeteryIndex.htm It certainly has some Woodlawn references.
