To everryone who has helped me on Genes Reunited. I have been asking questions about irish records and the Magdalene Launderies and the responses have been very helpful. I asked on Thursday if it was ok to write to someone after taking their address off of the Electoral Roll and was told it was. I posted the letter yesterday and got an e-mail from my Great Uncle's son who I have been searching for. I know this should be on the Success Board but I wanted to say thankyou to everyone on here for helping me. Bad news is I don't think I'll be going on holiday today. Sharm el Sheik has had bomb attacks. Thankyou once again Michelle

Thats great news Michelle. My ancestors came from Ireland...dunno where yet! so it makes it even harder to trace ! I haven't seen the news today, isn't it awful, all this killing/terrorists, makes a sad world:( Ann

Hi Michelle, I know I didn't help at all, but I'm still really glad for you, I hope one day I get some of your luck! First sucess I've heard of someone finding an Irsih rellie, so I won't give up just yet, you never know I may be next. However it is unfortunate about your holiday and what is going on in the world at present, we don't seem to be safe anywhere at the moment. Best wishes sophie
