Hi, On the 1841 census I found my g/g/g/grandmother Mary Shelley Father John Shelley a Well Digger in Berkshire she was one of 7 girls I did not expect to find any of their births but find it strange that I can't find a marraige for any of them except Mary Shelley who married in 1843. Can't find any Shelleys on any other census either. Do you think this is odd or has anyone else had the same sort of problems. Margaret

If the daus married in the 1850's early 1860's - poorly covered by FreeBMD in those years.... Maybe you need to be searching 1837online (but perhaps you are??!) Or, perhaps they lost the 'e' in their name?? Happy Hunting - Sarah
