Hi Looking for a Marriage of my Hubbies G G Grandfather David Lewis c1815 Ludlow Shropshire To Catherine Smith c1815 Whitehaven Cumberland Have them on census 1851 living Stockton Durham First child on there was born 1842 any help please regards June |

Hi Christine, To tell you the truth i have not look any where as yet as only just found out her maiden name on one of there childrens birth cert regards June |

Nothing in Stockton in 1841 or 1842, but then you don't say where the first child was born, so the marriage might not have been Stockton, and there are loads of David Lewis's on 1837online so you would have to have an idea of where the marriage took place. Kath. x |

Hi Kathleen , As far as census go the first child was born Stockton Durham , I sent for the middle child number 4 birth cert as that was the only one i could find ref for regards June ps David was a Shoemaker/Journeyman and died abt 1859 |

there is no marriages on 1837 for David Lewis in Cumberland or Stockton between sept 1837 and dec 1842, They were nearly all in Wales. Kim |
