1841 Census lookup please

Unfortunately the 1841 census doesn't tell you where they were born. It only says if they were born 'in the county' or not, or in Scotland or Ireland or 'foreign' Anne

Dawn, It won't give you the county. For instance, if you are looking at the 1841 for Staffordshire and the person concerned was born in Staffordshire, it will give Y. If they were born in Derbyshire, it will give N but it won't mention Derbshire at all. It won't specify which county they were born in, only whether or not they were born in the same county that they are living in at the time of the 1841 census. Sam x

Hi Old Crone I have looked on the 1851 census and can not find them, they have been on the 1841 census as someone gave me some info on them but i have mis laid it and would like to find out as much info as possible.
