...printing out a tree with 8 generations? I want to print our tree for my brother's 60th birthday but the programme I have is a very old one (Softkey's Family Tree). To print it out so everything is readable, takes 6 A4 landscape pages in 2 rows of 3 and I won't be able to get a frame that big. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks in advance. Lynne |

Sorry LYnne, I can't help you, but I'd be interested in it too! Anyone? |

Hi Lynne I'm not sure you would find one - Family Tree Maker 2005 will do it but again, it is over 6 A4 pages. Sam x |

If you upload your tree to TribalPages, and pay a nominal fee, you can print out some useful and manageable charts. |

A cheaper option, though maybe not as good would be to buy a pre-printed Family Tree Chart (Ebay have some or genealogy suppliers), and get someone you know who can do caligraphy to fill it out for you, or just print neatly yourself. Have to be careful not to make mistakes though. I think however you do it is going to need a fairly large frame to get 8 generations on it. Kath. x |
