Can anyone help im looking for a marriage for Owen Thomas Parry - Jane Pritchard. The marriage is likely to of took place in Hollyhead, Anglesey, Wales around 1915. Their 1st child was born Jan 1916. Ive looked on 1837 from 1912 - 1917 and can't see any match. Julie

Perhaps they never married, just lived together. I have ancestors that I have never found their marriage certificate. Some I have found quite a few years after the children were born. Good Luck Irene

It's possible they married earlier, and maybe had miscarried or stillborn children prior to the first living child. nell

Hello Julie I have checked FamilyRelatives from 1910 to 1920 and there are a few Parry/Pritchard marriages, but with different forenames. Are you sure of all the details? Jane wasn't married before was she? Suzy

Hi Suzzy Thanks for looking, the info im going on is from my mum (her grandparents), she is not aware of Jane being married before i guess ill order her fathers birth cert to confirm the facts. I checked his birth ref so im 100% sure on surnames. Im just starting on her side of the tree. I knew there would be problems lol . THanks again for looking Julie

Hello again I think ordering your Grandfather's birth certificate is the best option. You never know, Jane or Owen may have had another first name. I'll check for you when you have got the cert. All the best. Suzy

Received birth cert today, it just goes to show once again never take what your told as fact. Turns out fathers name was Hugh Owen Parry. Ive now hopefully found the correct marriage which if correct took place in Liverpool. Thanks everyone for your help. Julie
