Does anyone know if the LDS records for Gorton Manchster are very sparse? I seem to be having great difficulty finding family members in that area or surrounding areas.

GORTON batch numbers Marriages E005151 M005151 1601-1741, 1838-80 Baps C005152 1813-1875 C005153 1804-1812 P005151 1599-1803 Try looking for a common name (eg John) in each batch - it should give you an idea which years are actually covered.
