I have been quite lucky with my Cornish ancestors, their parish has a fantastic online parish clerk who gave me all the church register extracts back to 1750. http://west-penwith.org.uk/opc.htm And there's a lot of free census transcriptions about too. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb*com/~kayhin/cocp.html replace * with .
