Problem with AOL Messages???? * UPDATED *

Hi I have been having problems sending messages to my AOL contacts. I noticed tonight there are a few threads says problems sending messages through GR. Could it be they are AOL accounts??? NELL Can you confirm? Thanks, Elly

Elly The problems on here are not linked with the AOL problems as I am with BT and I am also getting the 'Happy' message, so it is a glitch in the upgrading. I would bet any money the engineers at GR are pulling their hair out at the moment trying to sort thinks out. Victor

Thanks Victor There's always a glitch with an upgrade! I just wish this AOL problem would get sorted otherwise my family will think I've dis-owned them and I only found them last year!! Elly

I have the ' 1 new mesage' thingy indicating that i have a new message from someone called Elly.... i've read it... and come back on here and its still there! There, it is official - I have an Elly bunging up my works!! jess xx

Hi Guys I knew it wasn't me! found this on recently asked questions at MSN Cannot send e-mail to AOL accounts AOL recently made changes to their e-mail system to reduce spam sent to their customers; however, this change has had the unintended consequence of keeping certain legitimate e-mail messages from entering their systems. Additionally, AOL’s update also targets e-mail generated by PCs infected with viruses. As MSN HotmailSympatico Mail continues to work with AOL on a solution, here are some steps you can take that may help resolve the issue in the meantime:............................. I know my p.c. isn't infected as I've used other e-mail addresses from the same p.c. and they got delivered to AOL users ok - so it must have taken a disliking to my addy - boohoo Elly
