I cannot seem to access it. Everything I put in turns up negative - I wanted to check on the probability of a will before I sent off for a copy. What am I doing wrong? Ann |

Ann I'm not sure it's you. I haven't looked at this before, but I just searched 'Spencer' 'Northampton' (home of Lady Di so you would think this a good one) Only 1 match found Someone else might know the scope of the database Elly |

There are only wills up until 1858 on the TNA site, it is not a complete coverage, many wills would be found in the archives of the relevant county. Jennifer P.S. There are a number of wills relating to Diana's family on the site, the name SPENCER and ALTHORP in the keyword will produce three, there are others if yot want to plough through the 900 odd that come up if you just put in the name SPENCER. |
