Cheers Jim, I'm in my dotage too....but obviously you are more 'on the ball' than me. Thanks for pointing that out. I can see now that I have gone wrong in assuming that whatever Park it is has a number attached to it. Still not sure that it is National Park but will make a note of that for when I visit Isle Brewers this weekend. Thanks again, Sue

Looks like NATIONS PARK but the number 15 is the enumerators count ,not the house number.

Valerie and Elizabeth, Thank you for looking. I think you are right in thinking that what I thought was an 'N' is more likely a 'W'. I am visiting the area at the weekend and will take your suggestions with me in the hope that someone in the locality will be able to throw some light on it. Once again, manty thanks. Sue

Just looked too, very hard to read, first thought it was an N but not so sure now. Looked at page 1 says Westport Inn Page 2 is Westport Page 3: Naliond Park or Waliond Park Sorry not to be of more help, did try using the looking glass up to 100% but still hard to decipher. Elizabeth

1861 census. Anthony Rowswell born 1829 Shepton Beauchamp living Isle Brewers. The address is 15 ? Park. Can't decipher the ? and would be most grateful for help. Sue
