I have recently found someone who was supposed to be a daughter and turns out she is the grandaughter. If I put her in the correct place with her mother she then has herself as her mothers sister. I dont want to have to delete all the line if possible. What can I do. Margaret |

You cannot delete her if she has people below her (children , grandchildren ) you can only delete her when she is at the end of the line as it were, which is what you'll have to do jess |

Hi Jess. My problem is she is a direct line to me. If I delete everyone below including me that will wipe all the tree of the board wil it not |

Hi Heather. No I cant edit the mother because she is tied to family too. Thats how I found out she was her mother as her husband has the child as step daughter. On the earlier census the grandfather had her down as his daughter and the real mother was a servant elsewhere. If the grandfather had been honest this wouldnt have happened. Probably saving face |

Hi Margaret I wasn't sure if it would work for you, I did it for one of mine but there was no one connected to him. You'll find the PAF on the familysearch site. Heather |
