Earlier this morning he described a smuggler's job, how they were criminals etc.... some of my ancestors were smugglers, and yeah they weren't so nice (as reported in a local paper in the 1700s) - but it's only one sided!! Chloe

He's describing jobs in the workhouses at the moment which were intended to punish you for being poor! Brenda

On TV now and all afternoon, the worst job in history hosted by Tony Robinson, on Discovery and Discovery +1. On +1 at the moment he's doing Victorian 'careers' and the worst job of all. Some of these jobs have led to the origin of some of our surnames. Looks good, and I think we're all interested in history! Brenda
