Glad to be of help. Remember that there are lots of counties and times that aren't on the IGI, but as suggested above you can find parish record transcripts on other sites, including Family History Online you have to pay, but its quite reasonable - AND you can click on the county/ies you want to see what they have before you pay. nell |

Yvonne, when you say IGI sites, I think you mean any parish record transcriptions? There are lots of sites with parish transcriptions - you should have a try at googling for the area you are interested in and see if the local Family History Society has put anything online. |

The IGI itself is exclusive to the LDS, but there are several other indices available. Some family history societies produce indices of baptisms, marriages and burials for their own areas as do some towns and villages. Norfolk has a very large transcription site containing a lot of information. That is the ones I know about, there are probably a lot more. You may find more information about what is available on Genuki. |

The IGI info will be the same whereever you get it from. But you can google 'Hugh Wallis batch numbers' which will take you to a brilliant site which tells you exactly which churches/synagogues are covered by the IGI for each town/parish and for which time periods. nell |
