If you log on to Gloucestershire Records Office site: www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleID=1335 they have a searchable genealogical index which includes Gloucester gaol register, an index of all wills proved at Gloucester between 1541 and 1858 and non-conformist baptisms. If you find your relative they will send you a photocopy of the item for a small sum. nell

Thanks Cat i was just checking, as i have a cousin who has got to the same stage as me researching , who also doesnt live near Gloucester and i wanted to make sure that i gave her the info(or lack of that you couldnt find for me) correctly so that if either of us ever organise a trip to Glos we can discount the years you looked for us. Thanks once again for looking for me Cat Star

Perhaps this will answer your qestion- http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/GLS/Archives/ I don't think there's a place called Glos Archives - they are just things that exist.
